What a year! So much has happened this year both good and bad. I left UMC, took a six month vacation, we made the big move, and I started a new job. This year literally flew by, it feels like just yesterday we were bringing in the New Year with our buddies the P's. I feel good about the upcoming year and look forward to a fresh start. New Year's Resolutions (in random order): Be less whinny Put more money in our savings Eat out less Eat healthier Drink less sodas Improve our credit scores Shop healthier Get more involved with the kid's schools Walk the dog more Jump on the treadmill more often Go to Vegas Clean more often Cook at least five days a week Stick to our budget Be more patient Look in to grad school Start house hunting Read more often Bake with the girls Finish Bubba's room Watch less TV

Home for the Holidays!

I had an awesome Christmas. We went home to Lubbock of course, to see all of our family and friends. Most importantly I got to see my Bubba! We made sure to spread ourselves and stopped at all the most importa nt people's houses for a small visit. It was nice seeing Hubby's grandma, she's always super sweet and never to fails to make us feel at home. We even got the chance to throw the girl's a small get together to celebrate their birthdays. We had our annual dinner at 50th Caboose and were stoked to pack the room with our family, friends, and even some old neighbors. I hope that we can go home every year and do that! Today...well technically yesterday was my Twinkie's 10th b-day. I can't believe my babies are so big already, it literally feels like just yesterday that I was chasing them down to change the diapers or struggling to warm up two separate bottles. Each day is blessing with them and I am honored to be their mother. My sissy's 18th b-day is ...

So Christmas is literally days away and I have yet to find the perfect gift for my older sister...who am I kidding she's totally gonna end up with a gift card. I hate to sound like a total Scrooge but the truth of the matter is that I think Christmas presents are totally over rated! Don't get me wrong, I love to see the joy in my kids faces when they open their gifts. Our parents bought our main gifts which was the outfit we wore on Christmas day and one toy of choice, usually a doll. My fondest memories of Christmas was running around the house playing hide and seek with my two favorite cousins, J and J. We play and play until we fought and then makeup and play again! That's not the case anymore, I cant just go off any buy a couple of hot wheels and a doll that says ...

Introductions

I should start by introducing myself and welcoming you to my first official entry. My name is LMC. I was born and raised in the Texas Panhandle and can appreciate tumble weeds and a good dust storm. I just recently moved to the Dallas area and find myself settling in nicely. I have three gorgeous children whom I simply adore! My son is twelve and our twin daughters will be ten in a few days. My world (as I often say) revolves around these three kiddos and I can't imagine it any other way. I have a wonderful man in my life to share them with and thank God that I have him everyday. I am so gr ateful for the life that I live and feel blessed to be able to wake up to them each day. I most enjoy spending time with my family and close friends. I love the simple things in life like smiles and laughter. I tend to surround myself with people I love and can't live without! Most of my goals and accomplishments have been achieved in random order, but I am far from done. I striv...
