March Maddness...
Week 1:Prepared for Lil L's visit and Twinkies overdue PJ Party
I rushed home Friday to gather our things and head out before 5 o'c
lock traffic. The trip was longer than expected, I hate driving in the dark and it rained the whole way. I arranged a small breakfast Saturday morning ensuring that I got to see some of my favorite people. I made a trip to Babies R' Us for
a few gifts, two of my girlfriends are having baby girls...awww. We rushed to my hair appointment and later spent the afternoon napping. I met up with several of my cousins for a GNO, it's always fun hanging out with them! I spent most of Sunday lounging arou
nd my parents house but mostly hanging out with my family. After a few stops around town, I picked up Big L and loaded Bubba for a long ride back to Dallas. I had fun with the boys, we played a few mind games on the way here and laughed most of the way down.
I convinced my buddy to come down and help out with the twins PJ Party
i'd been promising them since last December. I knew she'd do it, seeing as how her life is full of drama and she would be more than willing to take a break from all the stresses. She came down on a Friday afternoon, just as I got home from work. I'd called my cousin R earlier in the week, hoping he'd be willing to show us a good time. Luckily he'd forgiven me for giving him the run around from the weekend before. FYI, my cousin R is a gorgeous gay man who is a ton of fun to be around. We met him somewhere do
wntown and headed straight out...needless to say we had a BLAST!
The next morning we woke up and got dressed
for a soccer game...woohoo! The girls did well and we rushed home to get ready for a b-day party. I returned a few calls, picked up a little girl from her booth sell, and dropped her and the Twinkies off at an indoor Jumpin Jungle. My next stop was Wal-Mart to buy a basket full of junk food. The
PJ Party went well, we had ten 10yr old girls over and a list of fun things to do. The girls played games, did crafts, and split up into two scavenger hunt groups. L and I didn't make it, we both passed out on the sofas unharmed...lol. Hubby on the other hand wasn't as lucky!
Week2: Prepare for ROADTRIP to Lubbock
We were stoked about our well thought out plans for the SPRING BREAK SWITCH OUT. The girls were super excited about going home and spending the week with their favorite people, Grandma & Popo. Thursday night I packed a few things and checked to see that I had sufficient space in my camera. It's pretty normal to find random clips and pics of the girls on there. Hubby and I giggled as we watched a video of the Twins...lmao.
I rushed home Friday to gather our things and head out before 5 o'c
Week3:Outnumbered by BOYS; Twinkies come home with Tia
I went back to work on Tuesday and made sure to get to work early everyday that week. I wanted to rush home and
spend as much time with the boys. We had dinner every night and watched a few movies. I made sure the fridge was stocked with snacks and plenty of goodies for them to enjoy. They conquered both games I had purchased the previous week and enjoyed spendi
ng the week lounging around an being waited on. The week flew by so fast and by the time I knew my girls were on their way home with Grandma Yo and their two Tia's. We were excited to spend time since it was their first visit here. We had dinner Friday night and went SHOPPING every other minute they were here. Ugh...I hate shopping! I sucked it up and led to the malls I keep hearing about. I really enjoyed their company and was glad to have them over. The week finally ended and it was time to get back to work!
Week 4: Work week from HELL
So we're in week four and I've had one hell of a work week! I've been doing some production training and boy is it kicking my ass. Tomorrow is my last 10hr day and I cannot wait till Saturday evening, where I plan to be in bed by 7pm...no joke! My buddy S and I are scheduled for a chick flick this Friday...can't wait to see her!!!
Week 5: Not so sure yet...
I have a few things planned for early next week, but I'm not sure how that's gonna play out. I just hope I catch a break soon!!!
