A decade later...
So much has happened since 2010, I don't even know where to start. We've been in DFW now for 11 years. Last year we moved from Plano to Rockwall, a town far east of Dallas just off of Lake Ray Hubbard. It's been a huge blessing and we look forward to making tons of memories in our new home!
My Kiddos
My kids are all in their early 20's now. Bubba went back to Lubbock after high school to be closer to our extended family. He turned into quite the health fanatic and likes to dabble in the organic scene. The twins will be 21 this year, I cant believe how time has flown. They're both in school and work locally. Both my husband and I cling to every moment we have with them as kids, it's hard letting them grow up and experience life without wanting to protect them and pick up all the pieces. They may not be in grad school as I had hoped, but I am more than blessed to have respectful, loving, children who always put family first.
The Kid
We were promoted! In Summer of 2016 Twin B blessed us with our 1st grandchild. I'm Lolli and hubby is Pops, get it...LolliPops. He is the definition of BOY to a T, full of energy and spunk but sweet and loving as can be. He absolutely adores Pops, while I patiently wait for him to discover I am the key to getting everything and anything he wants. As expected, he is the light of our lives and we absolutely adore him.
Career
I left my last job of 8 years and took a new position as a CM in downtown Dallas. I have an office with a kickass view! Every morning I look out my window as I sip on my coffee and remind myself how blessed and fortunate I've been to get here. I've enjoyed my time there thus far and look forward to establishing key relationships not only with my counterparts but as a leader with experienced knowledge in my field.
In other more recent news
My sister Chuckie finally got engaged and married! We couldn't be more happy for her as we patiently wait for baby news. The girls, Mother, and I joined her bachelorette trip this past May to Mexico City and Cabo. It was an amazing girls trip, one I'll never forget!
I'm excited about blogging again and really hope it becomes more routine. I do lead a pretty simple life, but for those of you who know me, it's taken lots of hard work and patience to get here!
Till next time,
LMC♥️
