Playing Catch Up...

Wow...where did the time go! It's almost been a whole year since my last post and I have a ton of catching up to do.
I think we went home every month last spring, it's always nice to go home and see family and friends. Our first trip was in March when we did the Spring Break kid switch and the second was the roadtrip home for Easter. We spent Easter weekend with family and friends, and made sure to make it to all the annual egg hunts. It was fun to see N and A partake in their first official egg hunt. As we neared the end of April we spent our weekend's home in Plano or at b-day parties!
May was a busy month! I had a lovely Mother's day spent exactly how I wanted, doing nothing at all. My mother-in-law came down to visit, but I think she just needed a break :) She was just one of our many visitors that month. J and A came down to purchase a new luxury car, we broke it in that night out on the town. I hate surprise visits, but can't complain when it comes to them cause we miss them so much!
Later that month the P's came to visit! We always have so much fun with them, the girl's sure do miss E. We took the kiddos to the waterpark and eat out every chance we could get! The month ended with a big bangs, Sissy finally graduated from high school. It was awesome watching my baby sister walk across the stage with the biggest cheeze I ever seen. We are so proud of her and look forward to the many accomplishments she has coming her way!

Summer was finally here, that meant Bubba was coming home! It was great having Bubba back but I was worried about the transition. Chuckie came down for a while...as annoying as she can be...I love hanging out with my little Sissy. We took the kids to a few places here in Dallas, we still haven't had a chance to explore. The summer was extremely hot and I'm not sure its anything ill ever get use to. My whole family came down for the 4th of July, we spent the holiday with the D family...BBQ galore! Mid-summer, my family gave me an awesome three week break. Bubba traveled to Puerto Rico with the in-laws and the girls spent their time in Lubbock with Granny and Popo. I was pretty happy when my parents brought them home!
A new school year started and we spent a lot of time getting ready for the new school year. Twin A ran and obtained class President of Davis Elementary...we were naturally very proud. A new soccer season began which always full of excitement, almost as fun as Bubba's football games. We had an awesome time at every game...I can't wait for him to start back up. Halloween was super fun this year, my in-laws came down and we let the girls hangout with their buds. Hubby and I turned 30 this past year...I was super bummed cause we didn't really celebrate like I would liked to, but being with the four of them is all that really mattered. The kids couldn't wait for the holidays, my parents came for Thanksgiving and we went home for Christmas. As you've probably noticed I crammed Fall/Winter together in hopes to update and maintain my blog.
Let's hope I can stay on track :)
