Weekend Couch Potato

So I've had plenty of rest this week. The girls and I watched a marathon of one of their favorite shows, we ordered in several times, and have only left the house once this weekend to purchase medicine. Hubby has had a severe toothache, but won't let me schedule anything. I feel bad for him because it looks like he's in so much pain. He came home from work yesterday around noon, took two extra strength Tylenol and a shot of NyQuil, we didn't see him for the rest of the day....poor guy. We've been trying to make it back to D's to leave their Christmas gifts but feel obligated to take my husband since they're his relatives. Twin A is also coming down with something, she ran fever last nite and complained of stomach cramps today. I gave her some meds and put a warm towel on her belly to soothe the cramps. I couldn't find the heating pad, I'm sure it's in one of the boxes in the garage that I have yet to unpack. Twin B and I are just bumming around, she'll get up to find a snack in the fridge from time to time but mostly she's just bored. I keep a tub of ice cream in the freezer, but Twin B keeps insisting on how much happier we'd be if we had a different flavor. It was crazy pretty yesterday, the kind of weather you go to park in or have BBQ. Today was at least thirty degrees lower and definitely called for a nice crackling fire. I hope it warms up soon seeing as how I will be taking the train all week and its not that comfty when its cold.
I wrecked Hubby's car a couple of weeks ago. I hope they'll be done with it real soon, so I can take my truck to work whenever I feel like it. I felt so bad for the kid I hit, he wasn't hurt thank goodness. He was driving his older sister car and looked crazy worried about what would happen. I assured him it wasn't his fault and that my insurance would cover his expenses. I wonder if they'll let him borrow the car again.
I'm super stoked about our dinner plans this coming Friday. I'm finally meeting up with my old friend S and her husband. I haven't seen her for a while but we've known each for years. I met her when I was thirteenish in mid-school, she was really sweet and had the curliest head of hair I'd ever seen. I hope things go well and we can start hanging out, especially since she's pretty much the only person I know in the area.
